About the role

We are seeking a skilled Database Analyst to design, maintain, and optimize critical SQL database environments that support high‑availability operations and business continuity. The role works closely with infrastructure, security, and systems teams to deliver secure, scalable, and reliable database solutions.

Key responsibilities

• Design, implement, maintain, and optimize SQL database environments with emphasis on scalability, stability, security, and sustainability.
• Ensure high availability, performance tuning, troubleshooting, and operational continuity for production databases.
• Define and review database architecture components such as storage, memory allocation, processing, and integration.
• Plan, validate, and maintain backup, restore, disaster‑recovery, and data‑recovery testing routines.
• Lead technical analysis of complex incidents, performance bottlenecks, and operational risks.
• Collaborate with infrastructure, networking, security, and systems teams to guarantee alignment and efficient integration.
• Apply and reinforce database security best practices, including access control, encryption, hardening, and compliance standards.
• Support strategic technology initiatives, architectural improvements, and technical decision‑making.
• Mentor junior professionals and contribute to governance, process improvement, and technical standards.

Required profile

• Completed degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Systems Analysis or a related field.
• Solid experience in SQL database administration, including performance tuning, troubleshooting, high availability, monitoring, and optimization.
• Strong knowledge of backup strategies, restore procedures, disaster‑recovery planning, and operational resilience.
• Experience applying information‑security practices to databases (hardening, encryption, access management) and familiarity with ISO 27001/27002 compliance.
• Good understanding of networking concepts, protocols, connectivity, and infrastructure integration in enterprise environments.
