About the role

RateHawk is looking for an API Business Development Manager to lead sales initiatives, build strategic API partnerships and grow the client base across Brazil. This remote position focuses on acquiring new API clients, supporting existing integrations and driving revenue through tech‑driven travel solutions.

Key responsibilities

  • Develop and execute sales activities to meet growth targets in the assigned territory.
  • Identify, approach and close API deals with new and existing partners.
  • Provide system training, support partners and improve ongoing cooperation.
  • Prepare, negotiate and manage commercial agreements, documentation and technical setup.
  • Manage partner accounts through the first purchase and ensure compliance with payment terms.
  • Spend ~30% of time on business trips for client meetings, industry events and networking.
  • Analyse market and competitive environment and report regularly via CRM and internal tools.
  • Own the API sales pipeline from qualification to signed contract, focusing on closing partnerships.
  • Evaluate technical and commercial readiness of prospects and guide them through the API sales cycle.
  • Collaborate with onboarding and technical teams to accelerate integration and remove blockers.
  • Track KPIs related to deal progression, contract execution speed and activation success.

Required profile

  • 2+ years of successful sales or business development experience in B2B travel companies.
  • Proven track record closing API, SaaS or tech‑integration deals within the travel industry.
  • Deep knowledge of Brazil’s travel market, including tour operators, agencies, TMCs and OTA networks.
  • Understanding of API‑driven distribution models and commercial structures.
