Asset Management Supervisor

About the role

Lenovo is seeking an Asset Management Supervisor to lead a team of Asset Management Team Leaders and Analysts. The role is responsible for delivering hardware and software asset management services to customers, ensuring cost optimisation, compliance and high‑quality support.

Key responsibilities

• Supervise SAM (Software Asset Management) and HAM (Hardware Asset Management) analysts and team leaders.
• Balance cost optimisation and productivity by applying best‑market practices and deep licensing‑model knowledge.
• Monitor escalation ticket queues, allocate resources and ensure incidents and requests meet SLA targets.
• Collect performance metrics and prepare regular reports for customer and Lenovo meetings.
• Act as the escalation point for customer‑satisfaction issues within the team.
• Support the Quality Manager in maintaining a structured, accurate knowledge base.
• Participate in regular customer meetings and collaborate with the Service Delivery Manager on HR activities such as hiring, performance management, onboarding and training.
• Develop and execute training plans to keep team certifications up‑to‑date.
• Manage absenteeism, turnover, resource forecasting and allocation.
• Contribute to change‑management activities, including evidence collection, testing and reporting outside standard support hours.

Required profile

• Excellent verbal and written communication skills, able to interact with all organisational levels.
• Proven ability to communicate effectively with senior managers, executives and CIOs.
• Strong organisational and multitasking capabilities in a fast‑paced environment.

Required skills

• Knowledge of Software Asset Management (SAM) processes.
• Knowledge of Hardware Asset Management (HAM) processes.
• Familiarity with licensing models and compliance requirements.
• Experience managing knowledge‑base content and quality.
