AWS DevOps Engineer (Linux) – Remote (Latin America)

About the role

FullStackFullStack is looking for an experienced AWS DevOps Engineer (Linux) to join a U.S. client’s team on a remote, project‑based basis. You will work closely with designers and engineers, contributing to the delivery of high‑performance cloud solutions for a variety of applications.

Key responsibilities

• Integrate directly into the client’s development team and collaborate on daily tasks.
• Administer and harden Linux‑based production environments, including patching, backups, and AD integration.
• Configure, maintain, and troubleshoot relational databases such as PostgreSQL, MySQL, and Microsoft SQL Server.
• Build, deploy, and support Java applications using Maven, Gradle, and Spring frameworks.
• Deploy and manage Node.js runtime environments.
• Implement Infrastructure‑as‑Code using Terraform, Ansible, CloudFormation, Puppet or Chef.
• Automate provisioning across on‑premises and cloud infrastructures.
• Containerize applications with Docker and manage artifact repositories (e.g., Artifactory).
• Design and maintain CI/CD pipelines using GitLab Pipelines and Git.
• Monitor systems with tools such as Splunk or Dynatrace and ensure security best practices.

Required profile

• 5+ years of professional DevOps engineering experience.
• Advanced English communication skills.
• Completed a four‑year college degree.
• Proven ability to work in Agile/Scrum teams on large, complex systems.
