About the role
RINA is looking for an Energy Site Engineer to work on Brazil-based subsea projects, based in Rio de Janeiro or Macaé. The role focuses on structural integrity assessments of subsea risers and flexible pipe systems for the energy sector.
Key responsibilities
- Assess structural integrity of subsea risers using numerical models based on the finite element method.
- Prepare technical reports following Petrobras specifications for top tension, structural, and fatigue analyses of flexible pipes.
- Participate in technical meetings, offering recommendations and solutions in line with applicable technical standards.
Required profile
- Engineering degree with an active CREA license.
- Experience in subsea projects involving pipelines.
- Proficiency with OrcaFlex software and dynamic analysis of flexible pipes.
- Fluent or advanced English for weekly English‑language meetings.
- Desirable: knowledge of Python programming, subsea installation feasibility studies, and mooring/hydrodynamic analysis.
