Business Development Executive

About the role

Gaming Laboratories International (GLI) is looking for a bilingual Business Development Executive to join its Client Services team on a remote basis, primarily covering Brazil and potentially other Latin American or Caribbean markets. In this customer‑service and sales‑focused role you will build and nurture relationships with manufacturers, regulators and operators in the gambling industry, driving new business and supporting existing clients.

Key responsibilities

• Provide end‑to‑end customer service throughout the sales lifecycle, from lead generation and needs analysis to contract signing and post‑service follow‑up.
• Connect regularly, both remotely and in‑person, with new and existing customers to understand their requirements.
• Act as the primary point of contact for assigned clients, fostering strong, trust‑based relationships.
• Identify and pursue new business opportunities, developing tailored strategies to meet client goals.
• Upsell and cross‑sell GLI solutions to increase market share and achieve year‑on‑year sales targets.
• Support clients in expanding their operations by recommending appropriate testing and certification services.

Required profile

• Proven experience in business development or sales, preferably within the gambling or regulated industries.
• Bilingual proficiency in Portuguese and English.
• Strong client‑facing communication skills and ability to build lasting relationships.
• Self‑motivated, results‑driven and comfortable working remotely.
