About the role
The Business Development Manager for Marken, a UPS Healthcare Precision Logistics subsidiary, will drive growth across the Latin America region. You will build and expand relationships with existing and new clients, delivering innovative logistics solutions for advanced therapies.
Key responsibilities
- Meet or exceed sales targets for assigned accounts and territory.
- Develop and maintain the existing customer base through regular interaction and technical expertise.
- Lead client‑specific project teams, ensuring end‑to‑end satisfaction and accurate delivery.
- Manage quote requests, special client requests, and track win/loss ratios using internal systems.
- Identify and propose solutions to address client loss scenarios.
- Monitor client pipelines and report progress to senior management.
- Conduct market research and trend analysis for assigned and prospective accounts.
- Coordinate client projects with Operations and share market insights with Marketing and senior leadership.
- Assist with audits, site visits, and address complaints through QA/CAPA processes.
- Represent Marken at trade shows, workshops, and client events.
Required profile
- Proven experience in business development or sales, preferably within healthcare or logistics.
- Strong client‑relationship management and communication skills.
- Ability to lead cross‑functional teams and manage complex projects.
- Analytical mindset for market research and pipeline monitoring.
