Business Development Representative – LATAM

About the role

Proofpoint is looking for a motivated Business Development Representative to drive new business across the LATAM region. You will join a fast‑growing cybersecurity company and help expand its presence by identifying and qualifying prospective customers.

Key responsibilities

• Identify, engage, and qualify prospects in assigned LATAM territories through targeted outreach.
• Build trust with cross‑functional partners by preparing thoroughly for meetings and asking insightful questions.
• Showcase your work to leadership and participate in customer demo calls when ready.
• Manage leads using CRM tools such as Salesforce.com and Outreach, and apply social‑engagement strategies.
• Market Proofpoint’s products and services via phone and digital outreach.
• Respond to inbound inquiries generated by marketing campaigns and document interactions accurately.

Required profile

• 2+ years of experience in business development, inside sales, or a similar lead‑generation role.
• Bilingual in English and Portuguese; Spanish proficiency is a strong plus.
• Excellent communication skills with the ability to articulate technical concepts clearly.
• Detail‑oriented with strong time‑management and organizational abilities.
