Business Development Specialist

About the role

Garrett Motion is seeking a Business Development Specialist to accelerate growth in the industrial turbocharger market. You will shape go‑to‑market strategies, build a robust opportunity pipeline, and collaborate closely with Marketing, Product, and Sales to advance key opportunities with OEMs, distributors, and end users.

Key responsibilities

• Drive new business and market expansion through segmentation and partner development.
• Build and maintain relationships with OEMs, distributors, and strategic partners, acting as the technical‑business liaison.
• Qualify and mature opportunities before handing them off to the sales team.
• Develop business cases, solution concepts, and value propositions.
• Track industry trends, competitor activity, regulations, and emerging technologies.
• Provide market insights to guide product and marketing decisions.
• Maintain accurate CRM pipeline data, partner insights, and deliver regular reports on pipeline health and market potential.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Business Administration, or a related field.
• Advanced proficiency in English.
• Minimum 5 years of experience in industrial business development, preferably within powertrain or heavy‑equipment sectors.
• Strong analytical capabilities and ability to thrive in a fast‑paced environment.
