Chief Information Security Officer – Brazil

About the role

ARQARQ, a fast‑growing fintech, is looking for a Chief Information Security Officer to lead information‑security regulatory compliance for its Brazilian operations. You will be the primary security liaison with local regulators and ensure that our global security framework meets Brazilian requirements.

Key responsibilities

• Lead infosec regulatory compliance for Brazilian entities.
• Act as the designated security responsible with local regulators, prepare audit responses and engage directly in Portuguese.
• Own the local security control framework, map Brazilian regulatory requirements to global controls, identify gaps and drive remediation.
• Lead incident notification and regulator engagement for security events that trigger local reporting obligations.
• Oversee local vendor due diligence and third‑party risk for Brazilian operations.
• Coordinate with global security functions (detection & response, cloud security, application security, IAM, endpoint, DLP, threat intel) to ensure controls meet local expectations.

Required profile

• 7+ years of experience in information security with a strong governance and compliance background.
• Proven experience interfacing with financial regulators and leading compliance audits.
• Full professional fluency in Portuguese.
