Communications Specialist

About the role

We are seeking a strategic, dynamic communications professional to lead the positioning of our global aerospace brands. The role will oversee internal, external and institutional communication strategies, ensuring consistent messaging across all channels.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and execute comprehensive communications strategies for Airbus and Helibras.
• Coordinate high‑level press, customer and employee events, providing on‑site support and strategic counsel.
• Lead or oversee audiovisual, social media and multimedia projects.
• Support crisis communications and drive brand awareness initiatives.
• Maintain regional digital platforms, including the corporate website, social media channels and newsletters.
• Plan and execute internal events to boost employee engagement.
• Ensure alignment of internal communications with senior leadership and other departments.
• Manage budgets and resources for communication activities.
• Provide executive strategic counsel and support community impact projects such as the Airbus Foundation and the Helibras Institute.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Communications, Journalism or a related field.
• More than 6 years of experience in large‑scale communication, especially for frontline and shop‑floor audiences.
• Native or bilingual proficiency in Portuguese and English.

Required skills

• Fluent Portuguese (native) and English (bilingual).
• Proven ability to manage website, social media and newsletter platforms.
• Strong event planning and execution capabilities.
