Construction Estimator – Commercial

About the role

This remote position supports a fast‑paced U.S. commercial construction environment from LATAM. The Construction Estimator will produce accurate, competitive cost estimates that influence national bidding success across retail, office, medical, hospitality, and tenant‑improvement projects.

Key responsibilities

• Perform detailed quantity takeoffs and material breakdowns from construction drawings and specifications.
• Develop accurate, competitive cost estimates for commercial bids across multiple project types.
• Review and analyze subcontractor pricing to ensure full trade coverage and competitiveness.
• Coordinate with subcontractors to obtain updated pricing information.
• Support end‑to‑end bid preparation, submission, and documentation processes.
• Collaborate with project managers during contract review and post‑award setup.
• Manage RFIs and preconstruction submittals throughout the bidding lifecycle.
• Use estimating platforms such as PlanHub to manage bid workflows and subcontractor outreach.

Required profile

• 2‑3+ years of experience in construction estimating, preferably in commercial or general contracting.
• Strong analytical ability, attention to detail, and comfort working with numbers and deadlines.
• Experience collaborating with project management teams in a remote, fast‑paced environment.
• Proficiency in English (written and verbal) and ability to work independently.
