About the role

The Integrated Operations Center (COI) is seeking a Coordinator to lead the operation and maintenance of the Water Supply System (SAA) and Sanitary Sewer System (SES) in Pernambuco. The role combines tactical and strategic responsibilities to ensure reliable, compliant, and cost‑effective service delivery.

Key responsibilities

• Coordinate the COI team, ensuring communication protocols and shift schedules (12x36 or 24/7) are followed.
• Monitor critical operational systems in real time, responding quickly to incidents, failures, and emergencies.
• Act as the focal point for crisis management, handling communications, activations, and operational records.
• Track and report operational availability indicators and response times.
• Measure and follow up on the average response time (TMA) for critical events.
• Maintain accurate event logs and operational protocols.
• Evaluate daily system health, identifying deviations, recurring issues, and risks.
• Manage the flow of operational documents, ensuring compliance with legal and internal service level agreements.
• Consolidate operational data for regulatory bodies and external entities.

Required profile

• Proven experience in coordinating large‑scale water supply or wastewater operations.
• Strong leadership skills to guide shift‑based analysts and maintain operational discipline.
• Ability to work closely with operational, maintenance, planning, and safety management teams.
• Excellent analytical mindset for assessing system performance and risk.
