Corporate Lawyer – LATAM (Energy Sector)

About the role

We are seeking a Corporate Lawyer to support our legal team in Rio de Janeiro, focusing on Latin American operations of a global energy and shipbuilding group. The role involves providing legal advice on strategic projects, cross‑border transactions, and regulatory matters across the region.

Key responsibilities

• Deliver legal support for strategic energy projects throughout Latin America.
• Draft, review, and negotiate contracts, joint‑venture agreements, and regulatory filings.
• Assist senior business leaders and regional stakeholders on corporate governance and risk management.
• Monitor and interpret local and international laws affecting the energy and infrastructure sectors.
• Coordinate with external counsel and manage arbitration or dispute resolution processes when required.

Required profile

• Law degree with active OAB registration.
• 3–5 years of experience in corporate law, contracts, or regulatory matters.
• Fluency in English and Spanish, both written and spoken.
• Strong analytical, drafting, and negotiation abilities.
• Ability to thrive in a fast‑paced, multicultural, and international environment.
