Customer Service Specialist

About the role

YQN is seeking a Customer Service Specialist to support import and export operations in Brazil. You will act as a bridge between customers and internal teams, ensuring accurate handling of shipments and customs documentation.

Key responsibilities

• Execute import and export operations, including customs declarations, bill of lading processing, and cargo release.
• Manage maritime, air, special container, and break‑bulk cargo processes for both imports and exports.
• Record receivable amounts and verify payable amounts to shipowners.
• Collaborate with the customer service team to guarantee accurate local service information and correct order entry in the system.
• Perform additional customer‑related tasks as directed by management.

Required profile

• Completed higher education (bachelor’s or technologist degree), preferably in International Trade, Logistics, Administration or related fields.
• Minimum one year of experience in customer service within international maritime freight forwarding.
• Strong knowledge of Brazilian import/export procedures and customs declaration.
• Brazilian nationality and ability to work anywhere in South America without restriction.
• Fluent Portuguese and functional English for daily work communication.
• Result‑oriented, proactive, and able to work under pressure.
