Data Scientist – Mid-Level (Product & Experiment Analysis)

About the role

Our client, a leading health‑tech company based in New York, is looking for a mid‑level Data Scientist to drive product analysis and design and evaluate A/B tests. You will join a team of four Data Scientists and work closely with product managers, engineers and other stakeholders.

Key responsibilities

• Answer analytical questions from product stakeholders and develop metrics for new initiatives.
• Design, launch and analyse A/B experiments, ensuring proper power, sample size and avoiding p‑hacking.
• Build and validate predictive models using statistical and machine‑learning techniques and collaborate with engineering to productionise them.
• Provide ad‑hoc insights on product areas and contribute to improving team processes.

Required profile

• 3+ years of experience in Python and SQL within a data‑science environment.
• Proven ability to communicate complex data concepts to non‑technical audiences and build strong stakeholder relationships.
• Curiosity about AI and language models demonstrated through projects or coursework.
