Design Engineer – Crop Care Planters

About the role

AGCO is looking for a Design Engineer to lead the design and development of crop‑care planter projects. The role ensures that new products meet high standards of performance, durability, quality and serviceability before release to production.

Key responsibilities

• Report to the Engineering Manager – Product and contribute practical design solutions using complex technical principles.
• Create concepts, direct design activities and develop engineering projects from feasibility studies to production.
• Prepare development plans, manage schedules and ensure timely delivery of milestones.
• Conduct technical evaluations of major systems on competitive products.
• Coordinate product testing on current and prototype builds.

Required profile

• Degree in Mechanical Engineering or Mechatronic Engineering.
• Minimum 2 years of experience in product development.
• Desirable knowledge of agricultural equipment, especially planters.
• Advanced English to collaborate with the U.S. team.

Required skills

• Geometric Dimensioning & Tolerancing (GD&T).
• Design Failure Mode and Effects Analysis (DFMEA) – 4th level.
• Design Verification Plan & Report (DVP&R).
• Proficiency with CREO / PROE CAD tools.
