DevOps Engineer – AI Tooling SRE (Remote, 12‑Month Contract)

About the role

Insight Global is seeking a Site Reliability Engineer to support AI‑powered developer tools for a leading AAA game studio. The role is fully remote within LATAM and focuses on keeping tools such as Copilot, Claude Code, Cursor, and GitLab Duo reliable and cost‑effective for engineering teams.

Key responsibilities

• Operate and support production AI developer tools, handling access management, telemetry, observability, and chargeback reporting.
• Productize third‑party AI tools by navigating legal, security, and procurement processes.
• Build and maintain automated evaluation frameworks for benchmarking AI tools.
• Create and own dashboards (Grafana, PowerBI) that provide leadership visibility into adoption, cost, and reliability.
• Run office hours, enable internal users, and act as the frontline support channel.
• Maintain legacy products from Core Development, ensuring stability, security, and support.
• Respond to incidents, perform root‑cause analysis, and automate fixes to eliminate recurring toil.

Required profile

• 3+ years in SRE, DevOps, or Production Engineering supporting enterprise developer tools or platforms.
• Hands‑on experience with cloud platforms (Azure or AWS), microservices, and distributed systems.
• Strong scripting/automation skills in Python, Bash, or PowerShell.
• Experience with Docker, Kubernetes, Terraform, and CI/CD pipelines (GitHub Actions, GitLab CI, Azure DevOps).
• Proficiency in operating observability stacks (Grafana, Prometheus, Datadog, Splunk) and building actionable dashboards.
• Excellent written communication and ability to work cross‑functionally with legal, security, and finance teams.
