DevOps & Site Reliability Engineer (Remote)

About the role

Oowlish is looking for a DevOps & Site Reliability Engineer to join an AI‑focused SaaS startup. You will own the reliability, performance, and scalability of the platform, working closely with development and product teams to deliver robust, automated solutions.

Key responsibilities

• Deploy and manage web, mobile, and API applications across Azure, AWS or GCP.
• Implement and maintain monitoring and observability tools such as NewRelic, Datadog, Prometheus and Grafana.
• Design, build and optimise CI/CD pipelines using Azure Pipelines, Jenkins or CircleCI.
• Manage containerised environments with Docker, Kubernetes and Helm.
• Write automation scripts in Bash and other scripting languages.
• Develop incident‑response processes and disaster‑recovery strategies.
• Collaborate with development, product and operations teams to improve system reliability and deployment efficiency.

Required profile

• Minimum 3 years of experience in DevOps, SRE or a related role.
• Strong hands‑on experience deploying web, mobile and API applications.
• Proven expertise with monitoring tools (NewRelic, Datadog, Prometheus/Grafana).
• Solid experience building CI/CD pipelines (Azure Pipelines, Jenkins, CircleCI).
• Proficiency with Docker, Kubernetes and Helm.
• Experience with cloud platforms Azure, AWS or GCP.
• Good scripting skills in Bash.
• Familiarity with incident response and disaster‑recovery planning.
