Director, Finance

About the role

This senior position leads the finance function of a fast‑growing organization in Brazil. You will combine strategic financial leadership with hands‑on operational execution to build scalable systems, improve reporting, and support long‑term growth.

Key responsibilities

• Oversee the full finance and accounting function, ensuring accuracy, timeliness, and regulatory compliance.
• Lead month‑end, quarter‑end and year‑end close processes while strengthening internal controls.
• Manage relationships with auditors, banks, regulators and tax authorities.
• Provide financial insights, analysis and recommendations to executive leadership.
• Direct cash‑flow management, accounts receivable/payable and overall financial operations.
• Drive budgeting, forecasting, financial planning and performance analysis.
• Integrate new products, services and initiatives into financial systems and reporting frameworks.
• Build, mentor and scale a high‑performing finance team.
• Design and implement scalable finance processes, policies and internal controls.
• Champion automation and modern financial technologies to enhance reporting and analysis.

Required profile

• Proven experience leading finance functions in high‑growth environments.
• Strong knowledge of financial reporting standards and regulatory requirements.
• Demonstrated ability to develop and execute strategic financial plans.
• Excellent leadership, communication and stakeholder‑management skills.
• Track record of building and developing finance teams.
