Director of Revenue Management

About the role

The Fairmont Rio de Janeiro Copacabana is seeking a strategic Director of Revenue Management to lead its revenue strategy team. You will shape pricing, inventory, and forecasting approaches that drive profit across rooms, food & beverage, spa, and other hotel assets.

Key responsibilities

• Define and execute the hotel’s revenue strategy, aligning with brand positioning and ownership goals.
• Lead data quality initiatives, perform market and competitive analysis, and present actionable insights to commercial and ownership teams.
• Oversee inventory allocation, rate structures, stay restrictions, and promotional tactics across all booking channels.
• Develop short‑ and long‑term forecasts, drive the annual budgeting process, and produce long‑range financial projections.
• Chair weekly revenue management meetings, ensuring cross‑functional alignment and adherence to brand guidelines.
• Mentor and develop revenue management talent within the property.

Required profile

• Proven experience in hotel revenue management with a track record of delivering profitable growth.
• Strong analytical mindset and ability to translate market data into strategic decisions.
• Excellent communication skills to convey a total‑profit vision to property leaders and owners.
• Leadership capability to build and inspire a high‑performing revenue team.
