Director, QARA LATAM, Distribution & Ops

About the role

The Director, QARA LATAM, Distribution & Ops provides strategic leadership for quality assurance and regulatory affairs across Latin America within the International QARA organization. Reporting to global QARA leaders, the role ensures regulatory compliance, effective quality management system execution, and sustainable market access in highly regulated LATAM markets.

Key responsibilities

• Lead and execute the Quality Assurance and Regulatory Affairs strategy across LATAM in alignment with global objectives.
• Ensure ongoing compliance with country‑specific regulatory requirements and quality standards.
• Partner with Commercial, Operations, Supply Chain, Legal and Global QARA teams to manage quality and regulatory risk.
• Guide regional strategy to safeguard patient safety and enable compliant business growth.
• Support the transition of the Orthopaedics business to the standalone DePuy Synthes entity.

Required profile

• Proven senior leadership experience in quality assurance and regulatory affairs within the medical device or healthcare industry.
• Deep understanding of LATAM regulatory environments and market access requirements.
• Strong ability to influence cross‑functional teams and drive strategic initiatives.
