About the role

The Application Engineer supports the tendering process for completions product lines across the Malaysia, Brunei & Philippines area. Working closely with technical sales, operations, QHSE, finance and legal teams, the role ensures that all proposals meet Weatherford and customer requirements while adding commercial value.

Key responsibilities

• Prepare technical and commercial proposals for completions projects.
• Collaborate with cross‑functional stakeholders to gather tender information and ensure compliance.
• Identify, control and mitigate risks in tender documents, maximizing opportunities.
• Conduct win/loss analysis, market price tracking and competitor positioning.
• Uphold Weatherford’s safety, security, quality and environmental standards throughout the tender process.

Required profile

• Experience supporting tender processes for subsea or completions projects.
• Ability to work under the guidance of the Operations Manager‑Completions and take self‑driven initiatives.
• Strong focus on safety, quality and regulatory compliance.
• Effective communication with internal and external stakeholders.
