Event Marketing Manager

About the role

The Event Marketing Manager will join FIFA27’s Marketing, Brand and Promotion team in Brazil, reporting to both the Head of Marketing in Rio de Janeiro and the Team Lead in Zurich. This role will help design and execute high‑impact, end‑to‑end marketing campaigns for the FIFA Women’s World Cup 2027™.

Key responsibilities

• Support the creation and implementation of strategic, multi‑channel marketing campaigns that drive awareness, attendance and engagement for the tournament.
• Define and manage comprehensive go‑to‑market plans in collaboration with digital, ticketing, communications, BI and brand teams.
• Liaise with internal and external stakeholders, including host cities, stadiums, commercial partners and media partners, to amplify campaign reach.
• Develop and manage tactical and long‑term promotional partnerships with third‑party partners.
• Create briefing, publishing, valuation, tracking and reporting documents for marketing stakeholders.
• Implement influencer strategies, mapping ambassadors, legends and celebrities, and support on‑site activation.
• Co‑develop launches of major brand assets such as logos, mascots, posters and songs, and oversee related awareness and sales campaigns.
• Provide timely information on promotional events and optimise opportunities for stakeholders.

Required profile

• Relevant bachelor’s degree or equivalent higher education.
• Adaptable and effective under pressure, tight deadlines and stressful situations.
• Proactive, independent worker who communicates clearly and provides regular updates.
