Finance Controllership Professional – Global Operations

About the role

Join the Finance team at Baker Hughes as a Finance Experienced Professional – Controllership. You will support global operations, ensuring the accuracy, completeness and compliance of financial reporting across Brazil, the UK and the US.

Key responsibilities

• Support compliance with Sarbanes‑Oxley (SOX), US GAAP, local accounting standards and internal policies.
• Maintain and remediate financial internal controls, contributing to a strong controllership environment.
• Assist internal and external audits, preparing documentation and follow‑ups.
• Perform balance‑sheet reviews, reconciliations and quarter‑end close activities.
• Monitor open items, resolve issues promptly and contribute to variance analysis.
• Identify financial and operational risks, work with teams to mitigate them and provide visibility on control effectiveness.
• Collaborate with global teams to standardise processes, drive simplification and continuous improvement.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree from an accredited university or college.
• Minimum 5 years of experience in controllership, financial reporting, audit or accounting operations.
• Advanced to fluent English communication skills.

Required skills

• Strong knowledge of accounting standards (US GAAP, local standards).
• Experience with SOX compliance and internal control frameworks.
• Proficiency in financial reporting and audit support.
• Ability to monitor and assess financial and operational risks.
