Finance Manager – Plant Financial Leadership (São Paulo)

About the role

We are seeking a Finance Manager to lead the financial operations of a new plant subsidiary in São Paulo. You will be responsible for establishing robust financial processes, supporting the factory’s construction and ramp‑up, and ensuring compliance with Brazilian tax regulations.

Key responsibilities

• Lead overall financial management of the plant, including budgeting, forecasting, reporting, cash‑flow planning and internal controls.
• Support construction and operational ramp‑up through investment planning, cost control, CAPEX/OPEX tracking and setup of financial processes.
• Oversee all tax matters, ensuring compliance with federal, state and municipal regulations (ICMS, IPI, PIS/COFINS, withholding taxes, transfer pricing).
• Establish and optimise financial procedures for manufacturing, covering inventory management, cost accounting and production‑related controls.
• Partner with engineering, supply chain, operations, HR and legal teams to provide accurate financial support throughout project execution.
• Manage relationships with local banks, auditors, government agencies and other stakeholders.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration or a related field.
• Deep knowledge of Brazilian taxation, GAAP and IFRS, with experience in industrial settings.
• 8+ years of experience in financial management, preferably supporting factory construction or manufacturing operations.
• Strong analytical abilities, attention to detail and capacity to work in a fast‑paced, project‑driven environment.
• Excellent communication skills in Portuguese and English; Chinese is a plus.
