Financial Controller – Brazil

About the role

The Financial Controller for Brazil will lead the finance team for the assigned business unit and markets, ensuring accurate, timely reporting and analysis that supports strategic decision‑making within a strong control environment.

Key responsibilities

• Prepare and comment on financial results (income, balance sheet, cash flow) ensuring full compliance with accounting standards and regulations.
• Maintain and control transaction activity in line with global processes and best‑practice financial controls.
• Provide insight on risk, growth and performance, recommending improvements and remedial actions.
• Sign off statutory results with the in‑market Finance Director and coordinate activities across other business units.
• Consolidate, analyse and interpret divisional results, reviewing against historical run rates and growth plans.
• Own market balance sheets, approve reconciliations and review accounting papers.
• Support external and internal financial audits and coordinate month‑end review, OE reporting, risk register and variance analysis.

Required profile

• Strong background in finance and accounting, preferably within a multinational consumer‑health environment.
• Demonstrated ability to deliver accurate first‑time reporting and insightful analysis.
• Experience with statutory reporting, consolidation and audit processes.
• Excellent analytical mindset with a focus on risk management and continuous improvement.
