Fleet and Bus Service Manager

About the role

The Fleet and Bus Service Manager will lead the planning and execution of the tournament fleet and bus operations for the FIFA Women’s World Cup 2027 in Brazil. Reporting to the Senior Transport Manager, the role ensures reliable, on‑time transport for FIFA client groups including officials, media, broadcast teams and workforce.

Key responsibilities

• Serve as the main liaison between FIFA Transport and internal departments for all bus and minibus planning and operational matters.
• Coordinate with event bus and minibus suppliers to align vehicle specifications, delivery schedules, KPIs and operational requirements.
• Oversee reception, inspection, acceptance, and readiness of all fleet vehicles before deployment.
• Manage the return, de‑commissioning and hand‑back process of fleet assets after the tournament.
• Monitor fleet service performance against agreed KPIs, raise issues and implement corrective actions.
• Administer ancillary contracts such as vehicle washing, refuelling, toll management and traffic fine handling.
• Develop and implement the operational plan and depot concept of operations for all host‑city locations.
• Ensure appropriate staffing levels and quality of personnel for vehicle operations.
• Create and maintain service‑related policies, procedures, reports and guidelines.

Required profile

• Proven experience managing fleet or bus services in a large‑scale event or transport environment.
• Strong ability to coordinate with multiple internal stakeholders and external suppliers.
• Experience developing operational plans, service level agreements and performance monitoring.
• Capability to handle contract administration and post‑event asset disposition.
