Food Safety Manager

About the role

The Food Safety Manager will ensure that food safety principles are embedded in all catering operations for the FIFA Women’s World Cup 2027 across Brazil. Reporting to the Senior Catering Manager, you will support planning, execution and monitoring of food and hydration services for athletes, officials, media, and spectators.

Key responsibilities

• Harmonise national health and safety regulations with municipal legislation for each host city.
• Audit industrial kitchens and cold‑chain transport as part of supplier approval.
• Develop and validate technical documentation and supplier records for the tournament.
• Create contingency plans for food safety incidents.
• Assess microbiological risks of menu items and eliminate high‑risk ingredients.
• Design kitchen workflows and layout to ensure correct processes.
• Implement full traceability and food chain control across all venues.
• Collaborate with health authorities, internal teams and external stakeholders to maintain hygiene standards.

Required profile

• Proven experience in food safety management for large‑scale events or hospitality operations.
• Strong knowledge of national and local health regulations.
• Ability to conduct supplier audits and manage technical documentation.
• Excellent coordination skills with cross‑functional teams and external authorities.
