Forward Deployed Engineer - Brazil

About the role

A partner of a fast-growing enterprise AI company is hiring a Forward Deployed Engineer to join its founding team in Brazil, based on site in São Paulo. This is not a traditional software engineering role: you will work directly with customers, building AI-powered solutions that solve real business problems, deploying production-ready applications and helping shape an AI platform already transforming operations for leading enterprises.

Key responsibilities

• Partner directly with customers throughout onboarding, implementation and ongoing adoption so they get maximum value from AI solutions.
• Design and build new product capabilities, prototypes, MVPs and production features that solve complex customer challenges.
• Develop full-stack applications using React, TypeScript, Node.js and Python.
• Build, deploy and continuously improve AI-powered applications, including LLM workflows, prompt engineering, voice technologies and transcription systems.
• Design and maintain integrations with customer systems and third-party APIs.
• Collaborate with Product, Engineering and Customer Success teams to deliver tailored, high-impact solutions.
• Iterate rapidly on customer feedback and manage multiple implementation projects at once while keeping quality and speed.

Required profile

• Strong experience building full-stack applications with React, TypeScript and Node.js.
• Hands-on experience developing with Python.
• Experience building AI applications, including LLMs, prompt engineering and modern AI tooling.
• Excellent communication skills, able to turn technical concepts into business value, and comfortable working directly with customers as a trusted technical advisor.
• Exceptional prioritization and project management skills in fast-moving environments.
• Founder mentality: ownership, speed, comfort with ambiguity and autonomy.
