Frontend Developer – Remote (Contract, $20-$70/hr)

About the role

We are looking for a skilled Frontend Developer to join our remote team on a contract basis. You will design and build high‑performance web interfaces using JavaScript and TypeScript, collaborating closely with designers, product managers and backend engineers.

Key responsibilities

• Architect, develop and maintain scalable web applications.
• Ensure cross‑browser compatibility and optimise performance for speed and scalability.
• Collaborate with cross‑functional teams to translate requirements into clean, reusable code.
• Conduct code reviews, implement best‑practice frontend engineering standards and support continuous integration pipelines.
• Troubleshoot, debug and enhance existing applications to improve user experience.

Required profile

• Expert‑level proficiency in JavaScript and TypeScript with hands‑on experience in modern frontend frameworks.
• Proven track record of delivering production‑ready web applications.
• Ability to write clear, maintainable code that follows industry standards.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills for effective remote collaboration.
• Self‑motivated and able to work autonomously while aligning with team goals.
