About the role

The company Sondotécnica is seeking a Remote Project Operations Manager specialized in environmental licensing. The role involves overseeing the operational and financial aspects of projects, ensuring compliance with contractual specifications, and acting as the main liaison with stakeholders and public authorities.

Key responsibilities

• Manage operational and financial actions of environmental licensing projects, coordinating with institutional partners and public agencies.
• Plan, monitor and update the project dashboard, guaranteeing that deliverables meet schedule, specifications and contractual obligations.
• Define and track performance indicators (KPIs) to assess project health.
• Integrate activities with the Technical Coordination team and ensure seamless communication across operational and technical areas.
• Control budgets, costs, measurements and contract results, and prepare executive presentations and reports.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Administration, Economics, Project Management or related fields.
• Post‑graduate degree or MBA in Project Management, Business Management, Contract Management, Finance or similar is desirable.
• Proven experience in operational and financial management of projects, physical‑financial planning, schedule and deliverable management, KPI development, budget control, risk management and client interface.
• Experience with public contracts or projects subject to audit and accountability is a plus.
