Head of Business Development – Projects (São Paulo)

About the role

We are seeking an experienced Project Logistics professional to lead business development for our Energy, Ports & Projects Division in São Paulo. The Head of Business Development will drive growth across sectors such as mining, power generation and renewable energy by building long‑term partnerships and delivering integrated logistics solutions.

Key responsibilities

• Design and propose complex, tailor‑made project logistics solutions for large‑scale projects.
• Maintain and expand a network of heavy‑lift carriers, transport providers, barge operators, crane companies and shipping lines worldwide.
• Interpret engineering drawings and extensive packing lists to develop competitive offers.
• Identify, engage and secure new business opportunities and grow existing customer accounts.
• Lead presentations, manage the sales pipeline and prepare RFQs, tenders and bids.
• Keep the global CRM system up‑to‑date with client information, pipeline value and revenue forecasts.
• Coordinate closely with Operations, Pricing & Procurement and Finance to ensure service excellence.

Required profile

• 3‑5 years of sales or business development experience in freight forwarding, shipping or international logistics.
• Diploma or degree in Business Administration, Sales or a related field.
• Strong understanding of Incoterms, global trade flows and multimodal transport solutions.
• Proven track record of winning new business and expanding existing accounts.
• Result‑driven mindset with a focus on revenue and margin performance.
