Head of Customs and Logistics

About the role

JoomPro, the cross‑border B2B marketplace, is seeking a Head of Customs and Logistics to lead its Brazil logistics and customs operations. You will oversee end‑to‑end customs clearance, coordinate with logistics providers, and ensure smooth warehouse processes while driving continuous improvement.

Key responsibilities

• Manage the full scope of Brazil logistics: customs clearance, logistics providers, certification, and warehouse coordination.
• Own relationships with customs brokers, freight forwarders, carriers and negotiate tariffs and service levels.
• Identify, evaluate, and onboard new logistics and customs partners.
• Build and refine operational processes based on performance data analysis.
• Track delivery performance, benchmark rates, and implement improvement initiatives.
• Lead, mentor and develop the local logistics and customs team.

Required profile

• Hands‑on experience managing international logistics operations.
• End‑to‑end expertise in customs clearance.
• Proven track record leading and developing operational logistics teams.
• Experience negotiating tariffs and contracts with logistics/customs partners.
• Fluent in English and Portuguese.
