Head of Finance

About the role

Myande Group is expanding its presence in Latin America and seeks a Head of Finance for its Brazil subsidiary. The role will bridge Brazilian financial regulations with the Chinese headquarters, ensuring accurate reporting, tax compliance, and efficient cash management.

Key responsibilities

• Manage full‑cycle financial accounting and prepare monthly, quarterly and annual statements under BR GAAP (CPC/IFRS).
• Calculate, declare and file Brazilian taxes (ICMS, IPI, IRPJ, CSLL) with 100% compliance.
• Oversee treasury functions, including bank account management, daily payments/receipts, reconciliations, AR/AP and cash‑flow optimisation.
• Prepare budgets, financial plans and provide analytical insights for management decisions.
• Handle payroll, social security contributions, withholding tax declarations and manage fixed assets.
• Serve as primary liaison with tax authorities, external auditors and banks.
• Coordinate closely with the Finance Department at China HQ to align processes and resolve regulatory differences.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree or higher in Accounting, Finance or related field; CRC qualification preferred.
• Minimum 5 years of financial accounting experience, including at least 3 years in Brazilian subsidiaries or local companies.
• Native or fluent Portuguese; Mandarin or English fluency is a strong plus.
• High integrity, strong sense of responsibility and ability to work independently in a cross‑cultural environment.

Required skills

• Expert knowledge of Brazilian tax laws and regulations (ICMS, IPI, IRPJ, CSLL).
• Proficiency with CPC/IFRS accounting standards.
• Experience with ERP/financial software systems.
• Strong data‑analysis capabilities.
