Human Resource Manager – Brazil Operations

About the role

Rivaz Resources is expanding its operations in Brazil and seeks an experienced Human Resource Manager to partner with leadership and build a high‑performing workforce. This role blends strategic HR advisory with hands‑on execution in a fast‑paced exploration environment.

Key responsibilities

• Partner with corporate and operational leaders to deliver strategic and day‑to‑day HR guidance.
• Lead recruitment, workforce planning, onboarding and the full employee lifecycle.
• Coach managers on performance management, employee relations and talent development.
• Ensure compliance with Brazilian labor legislation (CLT) and internal policies.
• Support employee engagement, retention, succession planning and organizational development initiatives.
• Prepare HR metrics and workforce reports to inform business decisions.
• Assist with investigations, workplace incidents, disciplinary matters and other compliance activities.
• Collaborate with Corporate HR to roll out company‑wide programs and continuous‑improvement projects.

Required profile

• Proven experience as an HR Business Partner, HR Advisor or HR Manager in an operational setting.
• Fluent in English and Portuguese.
• Strong knowledge of Brazilian labor legislation (CLT).
• Demonstrated ability to support recruitment, employee relations and performance management.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder‑management skills.
• Ability to build trusted relationships with leaders at all levels.
• Highly organized with a proactive, solutions‑focused approach.
• Experience in mining, exploration, engineering, construction or industrial sectors is a plus.
