Indirect Procurement Buyer

About the role

DuPont’s Procurement team is seeking an Indirect Procurement Buyer to manage the full buying cycle for a range of services and materials. Based in Barueri, Brazil, you will support critical categories such as facilities, security, food services, packaging, and energy, ensuring continuity and compliance across the organization.

Key responsibilities

• Manage critical facilities, security, and food service suppliers, overseeing contract compliance and risk mitigation.
• Lead legal North America supplier relationships.
• Execute sourcing events (RFQs/RFPs) for renewals, scope changes, and benchmarking in indirect categories.
• Support packaging procurement in Latin America, handling price adjustments, contract renewals and cost validation based on total cost of ownership drivers.
• Act as the local focal point for energy procurement in Brazil, managing contracts and aligning with free‑energy market dynamics.
• Provide operational procurement support for spot buys, large negotiations and selected CAPEX purchases.
• Ensure stakeholder engagement and adherence to corporate procurement policies within a matrix organization.

Required profile

• Fluent in English; Spanish preferred.
• Minimum 3 years of procurement experience, preferably in indirect categories (MRO, services, packaging, energy).
• Proven experience in supplier management, negotiations and contract renewals.
• Ability to run isolated bidding processes with limited supervision.
• Strong understanding of total cost of ownership drivers, especially for packaging.
• Comfortable working in a regulated, compliance‑driven environment and a matrix structure.

Required skills

• Proficiency with ERP systems.
• Experience using sourcing tools for data‑driven decision making.
