IoT Project Consultant – Mining Sector (Nova Lima)

About the role

Infosys is seeking an experienced IoT Project Consultant to lead digital initiatives in the mining sector at its Nova Lima site. You will combine deep technical knowledge of operational technology with project management expertise to deliver end‑to‑end IoT solutions.

Key responsibilities

• Design and implement IoT architectures that integrate OT environments, IT infrastructure, and cybersecurity controls.
• Collaborate with mining engineers to understand SCADA, automated machinery, and health‑safety protocols.
• Plan, scope, budget, schedule, and allocate resources for full‑lifecycle project delivery.
• Act as the primary liaison between delivery teams and customers, strengthening relationships and identifying follow‑on opportunities.
• Support governance forums, steering committees, and executive communications for risk management and issue resolution.
• Apply ITIL best practices to ensure service quality and continuous improvement.

Required profile

• Minimum 7 years of experience delivering IoT projects, preferably in mining or natural resources.
• Bachelor’s degree in IT, Computer Science, Engineering or a related discipline.
• Proven track record in project management and familiarity with PM performance domains.
• Experience with both open‑pit and underground mining environments is an advantage.
