IT Specialist – Systems Administrator

About the role

The IT Specialist (Systems Administrator) will ensure the reliability, performance, and security of mission‑critical enterprise systems and supporting infrastructure for a global environment. You will act as a technical resource for complex operating environments, driving configuration, monitoring, and compliance initiatives.

Key responsibilities

• Implement, tune, and maintain core Microsoft products (Windows Server, Active Directory, Entra, Azure) and virtualization platforms (VMware, Hyper‑V, SRM).
• Administer hardware infrastructure including servers, Cisco UCS, and storage solutions.
• Design and operate monitoring, capacity, and configuration management processes to meet SLA targets.
• Manage Active Directory for a multi‑domain environment with over 15,000 users.
• Follow ITIL best practices for incident, change, request, and problem management.
• Ensure compliance with security standards and regulations such as HIPAA, SOX, and GDPR.
• Collaborate with internal customers to translate business needs into technical specifications.
• Participate in feasibility studies, cost‑benefit analyses, and detailed project planning.
• Support defect escalation, root‑cause analysis, and system testing.

Required profile

• Proven experience administering complex Windows Server and Active Directory environments.
• Strong understanding of virtualization technologies (VMware, Hyper‑V, SRM).
• Familiarity with cloud services (Azure) and hardware platforms (Cisco UCS, enterprise storage).
• Knowledge of ITIL processes and security compliance frameworks.
• Ability to work effectively with global teams and communicate technical concepts to non‑technical stakeholders.
