IT Support Engineer – OpsTech Solutions

About the role

Join Amazon OpsTech Solutions (OTS) as an IT Support Engineer and help keep the global network of fulfillment facilities running smoothly. You will deploy innovative technical solutions, provide expert hardware and software support, and collaborate with teams worldwide to maintain high‑availability systems.

Key responsibilities

• Deploy innovative technical solutions across regional facilities.
• Provide expert support for hardware, operating systems, and enterprise applications.
• Maintain critical systems uptime and performance during operational hours.
• Execute local technical projects from conception to completion.
• Conduct root‑cause analysis to resolve operational challenges.
• Design and implement efficient IT solutions and processes.
• Develop and maintain technical documentation and standard procedures.
• Partner with leadership and cross‑functional teams to enhance IT infrastructure.
• Deliver remote assistance to distributed teams and travel within the region for on‑site support as required.

Required profile

• 1+ years of experience with Windows Server technologies (Active Directory, DFS, Print Services, SCCM).
• 2+ years of troubleshooting in a multi‑user, high‑availability environment.
• 2+ years of networking experience (DNS, DHCP, SSL, OSI model, TCP/IP).
• 2+ years of support experience for Windows, macOS, or Linux operating systems.
• 2+ years of experience supporting and maintaining a corporate network environment.
• Relevant certifications such as CompTIA A+, CompTIA Network+, Cisco/CCNA, Red Hat Linux, Microsoft hardware installation, AWS, or similar.
