IT Support Technician – On‑Demand Dispatch

About the role

We are looking for an IT Support Technician to provide on‑site assistance to end‑users and maintain office IT infrastructure on an on‑demand basis. The contractor will work only when required by the client, covering hourly, half‑day or full‑day assignments.

Key responsibilities

• Deliver on‑site support for desktops, laptops, mobile devices, printers and peripherals across Windows, macOS and Linux platforms.
• Provision, deploy, replace, image and decommission IT equipment, maintaining accurate asset records.
• Troubleshoot hardware, software, connectivity and user issues, escalating to Level 2 when needed.
• Support network connectivity, printing, voice, AV and smart‑office technologies, including switches, routers, access points and digital signage.
• Conduct inventory audits, manage warranty repairs, device redeployment, disposal and stock levels.
• Assist with office moves, hardware refreshes, equipment relocations and technology deployments for events.
• Coordinate with remote technical teams and third‑party vendors, providing remote‑hands support when required.

Required profile

• Proven experience supporting Windows, macOS, Linux, mobile devices and office peripherals.
• Basic networking knowledge (LAN, Wi‑Fi, switches, routers, access points).
• Hands‑on experience with hardware asset management and inventory control.
• Strong troubleshooting, documentation and customer‑service orientation.
• Ability to work independently and collaborate with remote teams and vendors.
