About the role

Johnson & Johnson is seeking a Junior Oncology Medical Science Liaison to join its Medical Affairs team in Rio de Janeiro. The role focuses on building scientific relationships with healthcare professionals (HCPs) and supporting the introduction of innovative oncology treatments.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and maintain relationships with community and academic HCPs.
• Communicate the value of product attributes such as efficacy, safety, adherence and quality of life.
• Shape medical practice by influencing behavior during pre‑launch phases, including principal investigator engagement and pre‑approval access programs.
• Follow up on education initiatives, identify barriers to adoption, and support practice change for innovative products.
• Respond to scientific inquiries from physicians, investigators and health‑care decision makers.
• Integrate scientific data into real‑world practice to meet audience needs.
• Identify potential trial sites and assist with site recruitment in alignment with senior medical leadership.
• Plan and execute medical field educational events focused on oncology.

Required profile

• Junior level professional interested in oncology.
• Based in Rio de Janeiro, Brazil.
• Ability to discuss treatments with physicians and other stakeholders.
• Strong communication skills for scientific exchange.
