Junior Project Manager

About the role

Blue Orange Digital is seeking a Junior Project Manager to support the delivery of data and AI solutions for mid‑market and enterprise clients. This remote position is based in Latin America and works with U.S. teams, helping to keep projects on track and aligned with client expectations.

Key responsibilities

• Assist in planning, executing, and closing projects while monitoring timelines and milestones.
• Facilitate Agile ceremonies such as daily stand‑ups and sprint planning as needed.
• Collaborate with team members to develop project roadmaps and maintain documentation.
• Prepare and update project requirements, status reports, and stakeholder communications.
• Maintain project information in Confluence or similar knowledge‑base tools.
• Ensure accurate information sharing across multiple project teams.

Required profile

• At least 1 year of experience in a technical project management or TPM role.
• Bachelor's degree in a relevant field (e.g., Computer Science, Business Administration).
• Strong communication, problem‑solving, and documentation skills.
• Familiarity with Agile (Scrum, Kanban) and basic understanding of waterfall and SDLC.
• Ability to work remotely and collaborate across time zones.

Required skills

• Project management tools: JIRA, Confluence, Azure DevOps.
• Visual diagramming tools: Visio, Lucidchart, Excalidraw.
• AI assistance tools: Claude, Gemini, Jira’s Rovo.
