Junior Software Engineer – Data & AI (Fullstack)

About the role

Pipefy is looking for a Junior Software Engineer – Data & AI (Fullstack) to join its engineering team. You will work alongside mid‑level and senior engineers, contributing to data pipelines, APIs, analytical dashboards, and AI‑powered features while building a solid foundation across data engineering, backend, frontend, and cloud technologies.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and maintain SQL queries and BigQuery data pipelines, ensuring data quality and performance.
• Assist with data transformation and analytical modeling initiatives.
• Contribute to Python REST APIs and support integrations between internal and external systems.
• Explore AI frameworks such as LangChain under senior guidance, gaining hands‑on experience with LLM‑based solutions.
• Build and improve React.js components for analytical dashboards and internal tools.
• Learn and operate cloud resources on Google Cloud Platform (GCP) and Oracle Cloud Infrastructure (OCI).
• Participate actively in Scrum ceremonies and iterative software delivery.

Required profile

• Up to 1 year of professional software development experience, or recent graduation in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Information Systems, or a related field.
• Academic projects, internships, personal projects, or open‑source contributions are highly valued.
• Basic knowledge of SQL for querying and manipulating data.
• Familiarity with Python programming.
