Junior Web Developer – Remote (Brazil)

About the role

This is an entry‑level, hands‑on position focused on maintaining, updating, and optimizing client websites for a digital marketing agency. You will work remotely, collaborating with SEO, content, and design teams to ensure sites are technically sound, fast, and search‑engine friendly.

Key responsibilities

• Manage, update, and maintain client websites to keep them accurate, functional, and SEO‑optimized.
• Implement content updates using HTML5 and CSS3, following brand and SEO guidelines.
• Fix technical issues such as 404 errors, broken links, and redirect problems.
• Support SEO and content teams with structural updates and technical implementations.
• Work within WordPress (or similar CMS) to execute updates efficiently.
• Collaborate with remote developers, designers, and SEO specialists to deliver high‑quality outputs.

Required profile

• 1+ year of web development experience or completion of a coding bootcamp with practical projects.
• Strong knowledge of HTML5, CSS3 and responsive design principles (Flexbox, Grid).
• Basic understanding of JavaScript for simple code edits.
• Familiarity with WordPress or comparable CMS platforms.
• Excellent written and spoken English.
• Ability to work independently in a fully remote environment.
