Latin America Marine Project Manager

About the role

The Marine Project Manager will be based in Rio de Janeiro and will lead moderately complex projects within RINA’s Marine business unit across Latin America. The role combines full‑cycle project management with hands‑on engineering contributions, ensuring that project deliverables meet business objectives and RINA’s quality standards.

Key responsibilities

• Serve as the primary client contact for assigned projects, managing schedules, cost plans and resource allocations.
• Monitor project progress, control budgets, timelines and quality requirements, and manage risks, issues and corrective actions.
• Prepare and maintain comprehensive project documentation from initiation to completion.
• Contribute technical engineering work, applying naval engineering principles to solve complex problems.
• Produce accurate technical reports, ensure timely invoicing and maintain expense and time‑charge records.
• Communicate project status to internal stakeholders and senior management.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Naval Engineering or a related field.
• Proven experience in project management and engineering roles with demonstrated technical expertise.
• Ability to work independently, make informed technical decisions and collaborate across multidisciplinary teams.
• Familiarity with RINA’s Health, Safety, Quality and Environmental Management System.
