Legal Analyst – Compliance & Payments

About the role

We are looking for a Legal Analyst to join Attrus’ internal compliance and legal team. The role supports business units in ensuring compliance with internal policies, Brazilian payment regulations and international legislation, working from São Paulo, Belo Horizonte (hybrid) or remotely.

Key responsibilities

• Support business areas in compliance matters to ensure adherence to internal policies and applicable regulations.
• Review and execute KYC procedures during client onboarding.
• Negotiate, review, and analyze contracts.
• Conduct meetings with clients and interface with other teams, suppliers, and partners.
• Apply knowledge of national payment methods and compliance legislation (Resolution 277, Circular 3,978).
• Research and interpret international legislation.
• Develop and modify policies to align with Central Bank requirements.
• Evaluate and identify non‑compliance risks.

Required profile

• Degree in Law, preferably with an active OAB registration.
• Fluent English (will be tested).
• Experience in payment institution or financial institution regulatory matters.
• Clear and effective communication.
• Strong organization and attention to detail.

Required skills

• Knowledge of Brazilian payment regulations (Resolution 277, Circular 3,978).
• Ability to conduct KYC processes.
• Contract negotiation and analysis.
• Research of international legislation.
• Policy development aligned with Central Bank requirements.
