Legal Counsel – Real Estate Development

About the role

We are seeking a Legal Counsel to support high‑value real estate development projects in Brazil. You will act as the primary legal advisor throughout the full project lifecycle, from land acquisition to financing, construction, and final disposition, within an international and fast‑paced environment.

Key responsibilities

• Provide end‑to‑end legal support for real estate development initiatives, ensuring compliance and risk mitigation.
• Draft, review, and negotiate complex documents such as purchase agreements, development contracts, leases, construction agreements, and loan documentation.
• Conduct legal research on real estate laws, regulations, and industry practices.
• Collaborate with internal teams (development, finance, construction) to align legal strategy with business objectives.
• Engage with external stakeholders including government authorities, lenders, investors, and consultants.
• Monitor regulatory changes and maintain awareness of market developments.

Required profile

• Law degree from a recognized university and admission to the bar in Brazil.
• 5+ years of experience in real estate law, focusing on development and transactional work.
• Strong track record handling high‑value agreements and cross‑border transactions.
• Prior in‑house experience in luxury real estate development is a strong advantage.
