Legal Director

About the role

We are seeking an experienced Legal Director to lead our legal function in a fast‑paced, dynamic environment. The role reports to senior management and is responsible for safeguarding the company’s legal interests while ensuring full regulatory compliance.

Key responsibilities

• Lead and supervise all legal operations, including contract drafting, intellectual property, digital and data‑privacy matters.
• Provide strategic legal advice to senior management and support business decisions.
• Manage fraud‑prevention initiatives, third‑party claims, disputes and litigation.
• Oversee external law firms and coordinate their activities.
• Develop, implement and train staff on corporate policies and legal procedures.

Required profile

• Minimum 10 years of relevant legal experience in large corporations.
• Proven ability to design defensive and proactive legal strategies.
• Strong negotiation skills and a track record of successful outcomes.
• Law degree from a top‑ranked university, complemented by specialization courses, a Master’s or MBA.
• Excellent written and oral communication skills in English.

Required skills

• Deep knowledge of corporate law, contracts, IP, digital law and data‑privacy regulations.
• Experience managing litigation and supervising external counsel.
• Ability to develop and deliver legal training programs.
