Linux System Administrator – Remote

About the role

As a Linux System Administrator you will manage, maintain and optimise Linux‑based infrastructure for a global technology services company. You will ensure reliability, security and performance of critical systems that support innovative projects for leading clients.

Key responsibilities

• Design, implement and maintain Linux server and cloud environments.
• Configure and manage Linux systems, including monitoring, performance tuning and troubleshooting.
• Develop and enforce security policies to protect system integrity.
• Automate administration tasks using configuration‑management tools and scripting.
• Manage and optimise database and application server environments.
• Provide technical support and resolve complex system‑level issues.

Required profile

• Minimum 3 years of experience in Linux system administration.
• Strong expertise in Linux configuration, management and troubleshooting.
• Proficiency in shell scripting and automation tools such as Ansible, Puppet or Chef.
• Experience with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP) and containerisation technologies.
• Solid understanding of network protocols, security best practices and performance optimisation.
• Advanced level of English.
